In this project we chose to express forms, textures and technology to create an ambience that would remind us of the nautical world, past and present. The colour schemes used were derived from those found at the edges of the seas.

'Making metal move' was an objective per say, yet it was achieved through precise detailing of the metal components in the many ele­ ments of this substantial corporate interior. Each major space was given a strong theme and its function was expressed in a shipping vernacular, familiar to those in the industry.

The interior concepts critical to these key spaces were to express forms, technology, textures and ambiance that subconsciously remind oneself of the nautical world of the present and the past.
